Things to Consider
๐ก Meta is the only company out of the Mag7 whose stock has managed to dodge the market wide downturn and is actually up 3% YTD.
๐ก The tech giant has started testing its own in-house AI training chip in order to minimize its dependence on Nvidia (mass production is scheduled for next year).
โ
The Bottom Line
Zuck might be a weirdo, but he knows how to run Meta. Its stock is weathering the storm and even generating some positive returns. Financials are stellar and consistently beat analyst expectations. As Fry from Futurama says, "Shut up and take [our] money."

Things to Consider
๐ก Although the company missed its most recent EPS and revenue expectations, there's light at the end of the tunnel. Revenue from its cloud infrastructure segment rose 49% YoY, and management has plans to 2x data center capacity this year.
๐ก Oracle is a top choice in helping TikTok manage its operations in the US. Btw, TikTok has already been using Oracle servers to store data of US users since 2022.
โ
The Bottom Line
The company can't hide the fact that it missed EPS expectations by 1.3% and revenue expectations by 1.8%. But at the same time, its core financials have been consistently solid over the past 3 quarterly earnings reports. If it also becomes TikTok's primary partner for US operations, we can see its cloud infrastructure business going to the moon (not literally, but there have been talks about setting up data centers on the moon...).
