TL;DR: 95% of companies are seeing zero returns from their generative AI investments.

The implication: Confidence in AI initiatives is already declining among corporate leaders. Companies are spending billions and are essentially getting nothing in return. If this trend continues, there is a good chance that all the hype and euphoria around AI will vanish, along with all the funding. In other words, we might already be nearing the top. Invest accordingly.
