🫧 Intel Stock: Boom or Bust? πŸ“ˆ

πŸ‘‹ Hey there, Tech Fizz here.

Did you know that automated bots now account for nearly 30% of all web traffic?

Yeah, it's kinda unsettling.

Maybe the Dead Internet Theory is not so much a theory as it is reality.

What we've got in this edition:

  • 🚨 Market News Highlights.
  • πŸ’¬ AI Prompt. Evaluating growth potential of Intel.
  • πŸ₯· Insider Trades. Private Equity selling $100M worth of ALHC shares.

MARKET RADAR

🏭 Nvidia invests $5B in Intel, turning its rival into a partner. The chip giant is acquiring a 4% stake in Intel after the US government already took a 10% stake through a $9B equity conversion. Just another case of "too big to fail"...

πŸ—ƒοΈ Robinhood plans to launch a startups fund open to all retail investors. Robinhood has filed with the SEC to create β€œVentures Fund I,” a publicly traded vehicle intended to give the average investor the opportunity to invest in startups before they go public. Seems like a good idea, but there's a reason why this type of investment has traditionally only been available to private equity and high net-worth individuals (read: high risk).

⚑️ Electricity inflation hits its highest level in two years as the AI boom rumbles on. Our AI overlords are promising us that LLMs will boost productivity and make our lives better, but they're not being fully transparent about the costs (higher energy demand and water usage).

πŸ“‰ Rich Americans’ confidence slips. Sentiment among high-income Americans declined sharply recently. We're not currently in a recession, but it wouldn't take much for us to get there. The top 10% of earners account for 49% of all spending in this country, and 70% of the US GDP is consumer spending. So if the top earners decide to dial back their spending, we're in for a bumpy ride.

βœ‚οΈ The FOMC announced its decision to slash rates by a quarter-point to a range of 4.00% to 4.25%. It's official. The Fed funds rate was cut by 25 basis points and two more cuts are expected by the end of the year. Someone needs to keep an eye on Stephen Miran though...he was the only guy who voted for a 50 basis point cut right out of the gate.

EARNINGS

Companies Reporting Earnings Week of September 21st, 2025:

AI PROMPT

We think it's a pretty big deal that Nvidia is investing in Intel's revival and that the Trump administration acquired a 10% stake in the company.

Because if you haven't been living under a rock, you'd know that Intel got insanely close to calling it quits.

What we're witnessing in real-time with the propping up of Intel (even though it failed to compete in the AI landscape) is a classic case of a business being "too big to fail".

Regardless of how you might feel about this, we could be looking at a very profitable opportunity.

Let's dig into Intel's future growth prospects based on publicly available information.
